Start your day with a cup of local coffee and a stroll through the colorful streets of the Barranco neighborhood

    Head to the historic center of Lima to explore the colonial architecture and visit the famous San Francisco Monastery. End your day with a Pisco Sour, Peru's national drink, at one of Lima's many rooftop bars. Some of the must-visit places in Lima include the Plaza Mayor, the San Francisco Monastery, and the Larco Museum.

The Inca Trail is a 26-mile trek through the Andes Mountains that leads to the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. The trail is one of the most popular hikes in the world and offers stunning views of the mountains and valleys. The trek takes four days to complete and requires a certain level of fitness. However, the experience of hiking through the Andes and arriving at Machu Picchu is truly unforgettable.
